I propose that we have an inventory “party”, to go through each piece of equipment to log its “age” or In-service Date. Mark them with consistent TMR markings and to photograph “kits” of gear that we can post on the site. This will accomplish the task of purging defunct equipment or out of date soft-goods, have an up to date list of gear that is next up for replacement and find out how to financially accomplish that ahead of time. Also, when speaking to new members and asking them to grab a piece of gear…they already know what it looks like, what it contains and how to set it up.
